Hire Purchase Vans
Probably one of the more popular methods of purchasing a van is van hire purchase. To begin, an initial outlay is required in terms of a deposit. This is then followed by fixed monthly payments for a set amount of years depending on the contractual terms. VAT registered companies/users can claim back the initial deposit. Upon the final monthly repayment, the ownership of the used van is then transferred to the owner. This is not normally the case with other used vans finance deals, which is probably why van hire purchase is favoured by many van drivers. Read the rest of this post »
Insurance for Vans – More Expensive?
All UK fleet companies and individuals with used vans that are renewing their motor insurance policies in the third quarter of the year could face an increase in premiums. Currently some ninety-one percent of underwriters are predicting a rise in amounts of insurance premiums for vans and trucks. This seems to be in stark contrast to predictions for the second quarter of the year in which virtually every underwriter stated that there should be no change in rates for this type of cover for vans and HGVs. This, however, no longer seems to be the case. Read the rest of this post »
Car Supermarkets – Looking Good
Looking around Europe and trying to rescue its motor industry, we also finally have the scrappage scheme in action. All across the United Kingdom sales figures are creeping north under the scheme. Despite this though, not every dealership seems to be happy. Well, the happiness seems to depend on the way the business is done. It is probably one of reasons why, in spite of the recession, car supermarkets seem to be doing quite well. Read the rest of this post »
GAP Insurance Overall Elligibility
As everyone knows a vehicle’s value depreciates immediately once it is sold and then leaves the dealership. While taking a look at financing costs and interest, one may find that the vehicle is financed for more than its real value. Because buying a new or nearly new car with use of car financing means a sort of investment and long-term commitment, it might at least be wise to protect its value and secure the vehicle as an asset. And this is what GAP insurance is for. Read the rest of this post »
BMW X5
I love BMW – in fact as I would go as far to say that they are probably my all time favourite car dealership. My favourite cars within the range are the 3 series, 5 series and the X5. However, the X5 is now used and a new model is in town in the form of the X6! Wow is the only word that I can use to describe this vehicle. It is absolutely stunning. What impresses me so much about BMW though is the efficiency that each of their cars bring to the road. I suppose it comes as no coincidence then that the manufacturer themselves are indeed German, who are well known for their efficiency among car enthusiasts. Personally, I have bought many BMW cars over the years (both new and used) and even when I have bought from the used cars section, each time it has felt like I have bought a brand new car. Car Safety
Personally I have never been one collecting cars as I am not of the age to have seen some of the older types. Too be honest I don’t think that I ever will want to collect neither! However, it does seem to be quite a popular hobby for many car enthusiasts and I think that in time it may just grow over the next few generations. The reason for this being that with all the new designs and models being introduced by the likes of Audi, Honda, BMW and Jaguar etc, it makes the older cars more extinct as there are much less than in proportion to the newer cars. I am talking about the used ford mustang or the used jaguars of the world that many of us young guns have never even heard of. These machines were the catalyst for the automotive industry in previous years, which is why cars like these are worth so much money. The people that buy them as collectable are usually those of the older generation and prefer to be these used cars instead of the latest cars being offered by the car makers of today. APR Is Important
The strange-looking abbreviation of APR stands for the Annual Percentage Rate of charge and it is one of main features of any credit or loan one may apply for, especially car credit. Whenever you are going to be a car credit applicant you should simply compare car credit offers in respect of the amount of APR. Read the rest of this post »
MPV Vauxhall Zafira – Clever Transporter
One very important thing can be said about the multi-purpose vehicle of Zafira – it is just a wonderful example of clever packaging. With its versatile seating system acting almost like its unique sales proposition, the used Vauxhall Zafira has certainly managed to attract and catch the imagination of the public. The car emerged as being state-of-the-art within its market sector of MPVs. As many experts say, the used Vauxhall Zafira makes a lot of sense as a second-hand purchase. As noted, the vehicle can boast of being almost a construction and design of mastery in packaging and overall goods transportation. Read the rest of this post »
